My content is relatable.
What motivates you?
The people in my community! I have the best “friends” and love to share my day to day life with them.
What were you doing before you started business? And/or what else are you doing now (school/work etc.)
I studied fashion in college and then landed myself in the corporate world. I still work full time and share my creative side through my content creation.
How do you maintain a work-life balance while running a small business and What strategies or practices have helped you navigate the demands of entrepreneurship?
To be honest, I struggle with this but I try to take things day by day. I find that when I put too much pressure, I don’t enjoy it as much.
What’s your favorite thing about your business?
That it’s a reflection of the things I love most about fashion, beauty and life.
Most rewarding? Connecting with other women. When they feel seen, heard or connect with me or my brand- that’s the ultimate win.
Most challenging? Growth and finding new ways to reach my target audience while remaining authentic to myself.
What motto/quote do you always try to live by?
When in doubt, just add pearls!
How do you define success?
When someone comes across my content and their either feel- heard, seen, learned something new or found something they love, that’s success.
What advice would you give to aspiring female entrepreneurs who are just starting their own businesses?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help- you aren’t meant to be an expert in day 1.
What do you want to achieve in the future?
To grow in an authentic way while enjoying the process.
