Meet Tina D’Agostino, the sole owner of Blooms Flower Truck & Studio LLC. Before launching her own business, Tina had a dream job managing Citystage & Symphony Hall, where she thoroughly enjoyed running two performance venues with an exceptional team. However, when the company closed at the end of 2018, she attempted to transition into corporate roles at two different companies but found that neither was the right fit. The COVID-19 pandemic was a significant turning point for Tina, making her realize how much she needed to find professional fulfillment and happiness again. This epiphany led her to create Blooms Flower Truck & Studio.
Tina has been running Blooms for 3 years now, providing a variety of floral services from her studio in Westfield, Massachusetts. The business operates as a full-service, mobile florist specializing in event arrangements, while also offering everyday florals and funeral services. Located in the Mill at Crane Pond, Tina’s studio delivers single arrangements to the greater Westfield area and is willing to travel as far as her truck will take her for events and pop-ups.
How do you ensure authenticity and trustworthiness to your clients? Establishing a rapport, being authentic and connecting on a personal level.
What makes your business unique? There are a lot of florists to choose from, but Blooms can deliver wine AND flowers! We also have a mobile component to the business which allows us to pop up for retail and also design on site, with everything we need right inside the truck, including design space.
What motivates you? Being able to touch the lives of my clients. Whether it’s their happiest or saddest days, to be able to bring beauty, joy or comfort is truly wonderful. I am motivated to make the world a more beautiful, happier place.
What’s one tool, app, or strategy that’s been a game-changer for your business? I’m still looking for it! LOL.
How do you maintain a work-life balance while running a small business and what strategies or practices have helped you navigate the demands of entrepreneurship? Part of me regrets not taking an entrepreneurial leap earlier in life, but I feel fortunate to be able to do this at a time when I don’t have young children or other major responsibilities that can’t be managed outside of work hours. I have the ability to make my own schedule to accommodate my personal life, and I have the time to put into growing my business.
What do you want to achieve in the future? I’d love to relocate the business or sell when I retire.
Can you share a memorable success story or achievement your business has experienced? This year, Blooms produced a Mother’s Day flower market outside of the TD Garden in Boston. It was countless hours of planning, a week of prep, and two loads of flowers delivered in the truck, but my small freelance team and I created a beautiful and fun experience for my client and 400 guests. This was huge for Blooms. As I drove off the property with the Celtics and Bruins banners in the rearview mirror I realized that even as a solopreneur I am capable of accomplishing anything I put my mind to.
What do you do for fun in your down time? I love to entertain!
Do you have a favorite sport or exercise routine you enjoy? I love to start the day walking my dog Luna. She is such a fun dog and she has lots of fans on our route. And she loves the attention!
What’s your dream vacation? 3 weeks in the Puglia region of Italy, soaking up the local culture and food and not doing anything touristy.

If you could offer one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be? Take the risk.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to? Why? Too many to declare one favorite but among the favorites are Anguilla, Aspen, Lake Tahoe and St. John because of the clean air and natural beauty.
Tell us about your family! My two greatest accomplishments are my adult daughters, Taylor and Carlie.
After a long day of work, what’s your favorite way to unwind? Wine, of course.
