Kira’s journey into the travel industry was sparked by a friend. With a deep love for travel and a background as a former Disney cast member and Orlando local, Kira naturally became the go-to person for her friends’ Disney trips. Joining Believe Vacations felt like the perfect fit.
She launched her business in 2020, right as the world was shutting down. Despite the challenging timing, Kira has built a successful business that offers everything from excursions and events to full group conventions and detailed itineraries.

How do you ensure authenticity and trustworthiness to your clients? In this industry, I am constantly learning and improving my practices. Currently, I am working on my ACC with the Cruise Lines International Association and finishing my CTA from The Travel Institute.
When it comes to my clients, I am honest with my clients about their destinations, plans, etc.
What motivates you? Happy clients motivate me. When someone comes to me after their vacation and tells me how great it was or how they gave their friend my information, I couldn’t be any happier. I have clients that I am watching grow up before my eyes.
What do you want to achieve in the future? I want to continue to grow as a travel agent and continue to establish relationships with other travel agents and suppliers. I’m all about community over competition.

What’s your dream vacation? This is a trick question, because I still have a ton of destinations on my list. But my brother & his family and myself with my son are planning a once in a lifetime trip to Japan in 2027. For myself & my son, we will probably add China into the mix, so we can hit all the Asian Disney parks in the same venture. I have dreamt of going to Japan for years and I just can’t wait to eat all the things and see the cherry blossoms bloom.
Coffee or Tea? I love both, but if I have to choose…coffee!
What would the name of your autobiography be? What Didn’t She Get to Do? And it will be be a very short book!
What’s your favorite meal and from where? Anything Mexican. I could eat Mexican food every single day of the year and not get tired of it.
If you could offer one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be? Don’t focus on trying to fall in love. Love yourself. In the end, you’re the only person you have to be with.
What Inspires you? As cheesy as it sounds, my son inspires me. Every choice I’ve made in the past 6 years has been because of him. Not only do I make choices, because of him, but I admire that he is growing to be his authentic self and commit to his own identity.
